Does home insurance cover tree removals?
There's an old tree in my backyard. I'm worried it may fall someday and cause damage. Will insurance pay to remove it?

In most cases, homeowners insurance will only cover tree removals if the tree falls on a covered property such as your home, fence, shed, or garage. The cause of the fall is another factor. If the tree fell down because of something that is generally covered by the insurance policy, then removal will be covered.
