Does home insurance cover sinkholes?
I've heard from neighbors that our neighborhood has dealt with sinkholes before. Is this kind of issue covered by insurance?

A standard homeowners policy will not cover damage to your home related to earth movement of any kind (sinkholes, landslides, earthquakes, etc.). This type of event requires additional endorsements in order to be covered.
