Does home insurance cover sidewalks?
I have two sidewalks surrounding my property. I'm wondering if they're covered by my insurance.
Your homeowners insurance may cover injuries if someone were to sue you due to an unmaintained sidewalk. However, in most cases, sidewalks are not covered on a home policy if they’re considered to be a preexisting hazard that was ignored by the homeowner.
