Does getting married lower your car insurance costs?

I'm getting married next year. What is that going to do to my insurance rates?

Generally, getting married does lower your car insurance costs! Statistics show that married individuals tend to have lower claims costs than people who are single, so insurance companies are able to provide more of a competitive rate if you’re legally married.
