Can I get another home insurance policy if a previous one has been canceled?
My old home insurance policy was canceled a few months ago and I need new coverage. Can I qualify for a new policy?
If your previous homeowners insurance policy was canceled due to underwriting reasons, it may be difficult to find a new company that will take you. Most insurance companies have very similar underwriting guidelines that will inevitably cancel you for similar reasons. Additionally, during the application process, most insurance companies will ask you if you’ve been canceled within the past year due to underwriting reasons, and they may decline you for this reason.
If your previous homeowners policy was canceled due to non-payment rather than underwriting concerns, you should not have trouble finding new coverage.

How will California’s proposed ban on sales of new gasoline cars affect car insurance rates?
I heard on the radio that California might ban gas-powered cars in the next 15 years. I own a car in California. What is that going to mean for my auto insurance rates?

What is better, a cheap insurance policy or a brand name insurance policy?
Is it better to buy a cheap insurance policy, or should I go with a name I know? I was shopping for a new homeowner's policy and the lowest price came back from a company called Hippo. I have never heard of them before. This could save me $500 per year, but I am a little nervous about making the change.

"Do you need to know what car you are going to buy before getting approved for a car loan? "
"I need to buy a car but it has been years since I last bought a car and I really can’t remember the process. I think I had picked out the car first and let the dealer arrange for financing, but I do remember being shocked at the interest rate. This time around I would like to get my own financing to get a better deal. Do I still need to pick out the car before getting approved for a car loan?"
