Am I insured when I drive other people's cars?

Answered by Car Insurance Expert Mariah on February 18, 2021

I occasionally drive my neighbor's Jeep. I think they have insurance on it, but does that mean I'm covered when I'm driving it?

Thanks for the question! Generally speaking, you’re covered as long as the cars are insured. For more information on this topic, check out this article: https://getjerry.com/advice/does-my-car-insurance-cover-me-if-i-drive-someone-elses-car-by-nicholas-wilson.

This app is great, but the customer service is even better! Not to mention convenient! My husband and I got the lowest rate (much lower than the rates I was finding online through my own searches), quickly, and pretty much all through text message! Thank you so much for a hassle free experience👍
