Is high mileage oil good or bad?

I’m planning on changing the oil in my car but I’m not sure which motor oil to get. I still have a few questions before I change my oil. Is high mileage oil good or bad?

High mileage oil is good for older vehicles. The antioxidants, detergents, wear and friction additives are designed to care for seals in old engines, prevent leaks, and reduce sludge. High-mileage oil is more durable than a comparable standard lubricant because it contains viscosity modifiers.
You should use high mileage oil if:
  • Your engine is burning oil and requires frequent oil changes
  • Your engine has decreased pressure
  • Your engine has low-quality filters
With so many motor oils available on the market, it can be hard to decide which engine oil is right for you. The same thing can be said about
