How to play music through Bluetooth in the Chevy Equinox 2016?
I recently bought a used 2016 Chevy Equinox that no longer had the user manual. I’m not the most technologically inclined individual so I don’t know how this car’s Bluetooth works, but I want to play music off my phone. How do I connect to the Bluetooth in the 2016 Equinox so I can play music?

To play music through Bluetooth in the
Chevy Equinox
2016, you’ll first need to put your vehicle in park, then pair your device to the vehicle. To pair your device:- Select the Phone menu from the infotainment system, then choose the “Add Phone” (or similar) option
- Open your device’s Bluetooth settings to ensure they’re switched On, then select your vehicle’s name from the list of available options
- If prompted, confirm the PIN shown on the infotainment display is the same one shown on your device
- Continue following the pairing prompts until you see a confirmation
Once your device and vehicle are paired, you’ll need to navigate to your vehicle’s audio source settings and select Bluetooth. Start playing music from your device and it should come through your 2016 Equinox audio system.
