Kia
makes a lot of high-quality cars right now, but one thing that Kia doesn't have much of are EVs. However, Kia is making steady progress in that regard, and recently, Kia unveiled
its first dedicated EV
, the EV6. Kia isn't stopping there, though, and the Korean automaker has a lot of EVs planned for the future. Here's an early look at the 2024 Kia EV9 and its many comfortable and futuristic features.
Not only do we love the futuristic look of the EV9, but we also admire Kia’s not sacrificing comfort during the design process

How much will the 2024 Kia EV9 cost?

As
Car and Driver
wrote, Kia recently unveiled the EV9 to the public. However, Kia actually unveiled the concept version of the car, so it will be a while before the EV9 enters mass production.
That being said, Kia may unveil the actual production version of the car in 2022. If that happens, then Kia will likely debut it in 2023 for the 2024 model year.
As a result, its price tag is currently unknown. However, it's estimated that it may cost about $50,000, and its trims may bring it up to the $65,000 range. But, of course, until Kia releases pricing details, these are mostly educated guesses.

Since its price tag is a mystery, its specs are mostly a mystery, too. However, Kia did say that the EV9 should have a range of about 300 miles. This is roughly the same range as the EV6, and it's also more range than what its competitor, the Polestar 2, gets.
On top of that, the EV6 currently has the option of a single electric motor or two, and it can get up to about 576 horsepower with two electric motors. Since the EV9 should have the same range as the EV6, it's also possible that Kia will give it the same amount of power.
Another notable spec is its charging speed. According to
The Drive
, the 2024 Kia EV9 is compatible with a 350-kW DC charger, and this allows it to potentially recharge very quickly. When plugged into one, it can recharge from 10% to 80% in 20 to 30 minutes.

However, one of the best aspects of the 2024 Kia EV9 is its interior. This isn't that surprising since other Kia SUVs, such as the Kia Telluride, have great interiors that are on par with luxury SUVs. The centerpiece of the EV9's interior is its touch screen, which is a massive, horizontal, 27-inch touch screen.
That said, Kia also designed the EV9's interior to be futuristic. For instance, Kia used plenty of recycled materials to build and shape the car's interior. Not only that, but its interior is also very configurable. There are three rows of seats, and it can seat at least six people.
The seats in the first and third rows can turn 180 degrees, while the seats in the second row can be folded and act as a table. This means that folks can turn the second row into a table and use the first and third-row seats as chairs. There are many other possibilities, too.

The future of car insurance

The 2024 Kia EV9 is futuristic in a lot of ways, but the same can be true for your car insurance.
