The 2022 Lucid Air is a range record-breaking luxury sedan

noted that the 2022 Lucid Air official efficiency and range have been posted by the American EPA.The luxury sedan is estimated to have a range of 520 miles. This is a new highest record, as it surpasses the Tesla with the highest range by more than 100 miles.
The EPA has never rated an EV with such a long range before. However, having the longest range doesn’t necessarily mean this will be the best electric sedan ever.
The Lucid Air is not the most efficient vehicle in terms of miles per kWh. While it beats any Tesla Model S in rated efficiency, it falls behind the Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus.

The Range does win out in terms of efficiency as it has a considerably higher combined efficiency rating. The Lucid Air’s record-breaking range is found in the Range configuration, too.

The car is scheduled to be delivered later this year as COVID-19 did cause the automaker to suffer chip shortage-related delays.
