Car brands work very hard to show the world why their cars are the best. Thanks to that stiff competition, there were a lot of cool cars on the market in 2020.
Here's a look at just a few of the cool cars of 2020.

Brands like Lotus and Ferrari compete for some of the coolest cars of 2020.

Contender for top cool cars of 2020: the Lotus Evija

Like Esquire wrote, at a price tag of over $2.3 million, the Lotus Evija is one of the best cars of 2020. Not only is it the first EV hypercar from the British automaker, but it has some impressive specs, too. On top of that, it's also a preview of what's to come.
After all, Lotus will be making many more EVs from here on out. As such, the Evija is an example of what the famous British automaker can do with EVs. For instance, according to Car and Driver, the Evija has four electric motors and combined, they get 1972 horsepower and 1254 lb-ft of torque.
This allows it to go from 0 to 62 mph in less than 3 seconds, and it can top out at over 200 mph, too. It only has about 250 miles of range, however. That being said, it can completely recharge in about 18 minutes. Additionally, it has a high-tech luxury interior that's worthy of its price tag.

The Italian speed demon: Ferrari Roma

At a price tag of just over $220,000, the Roma is not like other Ferraris in many ways. At that price tag, the Roma is one of the cheapest Ferraris that folks can buy brand-new. However, as Esquire wrote, it still has a lot to offer.
For example, it comes with a 3.9-liter V-8 that gets 612 horsepower. This allows it to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, and it also tops out at about 199 mph. These specs make this relatively cheap Ferrari very competitive with far more expensive cars.
Not only that but, like Esquire said, it also has a "simple, curvy design." This design choice gives it a "classic appeal," too. Furthermore, according to Car and Driver, there's some nice tech inside.
The Roma has a 16-inch digital gauge cluster display and an 8.4-inch vertical touch screen. Plus, the passenger gets a screen of their own. These features allow customers to equip the Roma with some advanced features, such as adaptive cruise control.

Cool cars of 2020: the undeniable Pininfarina Battista

One of the coolest cars from 2020 is undoubtedly the Pininfarina Battista. Like the Evija, the Battista is the first EV hypercar from Pininfarina, and the designers went all-in.
Thanks to its four electric motors, the Battista gets just under 1,900 horsepower. Esquire said that this makes it the most powerful Italian road car that's ever been made. That power also translates to a lot of speed.
The Battista can go from 0 to 60 mph in 1.8 seconds, and its 0 to 186 mph time is less than 12 seconds. Overall, it can hit a top speed of about 217 mph. That said, those impressive specs come at a price.
Not only does it cost $2.2 million, but Car and Driver said that the Battista has about 230 miles of range. Furthermore, its charging speed was limited to extend the battery's life. The Battista can only recharge from 20% to 80% in about 25 minutes with a fast charger.
These were some of the coolest cars of 2020, but what's also cool is having some cheap car insurance. Jerry is a free app that'll allow you to compare dozens of car insurance companies so that you can find the best one for you.
