2008-2010 Honda CR-V

If you’re looking for something a little bigger, this older CR-V boasts lots of interior and cargo space.

2010-2012 Honda Fit

Average price: $7,150-$9,350

With a generous 30 mpg fuel economy and well-thought out interior, this reliable little used car is really fun to drive.

2010-2012 Toyota Prius

Average price: $7,400-$10,625

The only hybrid on the list, this 10-year-old Prius still holds up as a reliable and fuel-efficient option.

2010-2012 Toyota Corolla

Average price: $7,725-$10,000

Corolla’s are a notoriously reliable used car option, and the 2010-2012 models are some of the best. This small sedan offers great fuel economy and a spacious interior.

2009-2011 Toyota Camry

Average price: $7,800-$10,025

The Camry sometimes gets criticised for being a bit boring, but if you’re after a used car with above-average reliability, it’s hard to beat this vintage Toyota.

2011-2012 Infiniti G
