explains that the Fisker PEAR will most likely offer a driving range of around 250 miles. Car and Driver
also highlights an attractively low starting price of $29,900, which compared to the Ocean, is noticeably more affordable. Despite being a bit more basic, Fisker will likely deck the PEAR out with several appealing trim options, each more tech-loaded than the previous. What other details about the Fisker PEAR are available?
Fisker’s new and smaller SUV will probably come with the same trim options offered in the Ocean: Sport, Ultra, and Extreme. It’s also likely that the higher trim models will have increased battery range, possibly boosting the car close to, if not past, 300 miles when fully charged.
Green Car Reports
seems to indicate that the top trim Fisker PEAR will have a 310-mile battery range and a solar roof. Drivers and passengers are also expected to enjoy a wraparound windshield, too. The PEAR will be made at the same plant as Lordstown Motors’ Endurance pickup
Car and Driver also confirmed that Foxconn, who also partners with Lordstown Motors, will be assisting in building the Fisker PEAR in time for 2024’s first round of delivery orders. The Fisker PEAR will also be built at the same 6.2-million-square-foot Ohio assembly plant as the Lordstown Endurance.
Foxconn recently acquired the huge facility as Lordstown has been backpedaling in order to gain capital in the hopes of boosting its vehicle production, which the carmaker reports is lagging severely.
