reported that Karpathy, who has been with the company for the past five years, made the official announcement via Twitter. Considering Tesla’s vast progress in the AI and automatic driving segment, Karpathy’s departure from the company is shocking.
“It’s been a great pleasure to help Tesla towards its goals over the last 5 years and a difficult decision to part ways,” said Karpathy on Twitter, although no specific reason was given for his resignation.
CEO Elon Musk even thanked Karpathy for his work in response.
