Tesla Is Getting Sued For Sexual Harassment
For nearly a year now, Tesla has been under litigation after seven women said they experience sexual harassment at the automaker’s workplaces.

In November 2021, a woman who used to work at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Fremont sued the automaker, claiming that coworkers routinely made sexual comments about her and touched her inappropriately while she worked and that nothing happened after she told her supervisors.
Only a month later, a second lawsuit was filed, this time including six other female plaintiffs.

says the current and former employees received cat calls and unwanted touching from coworkers at Fremont and one other facility but, again, nothing was done about it.In fact, in some cases, supervisors were directly involved in the harassment these women suffered, making it even more difficult for them to know where to turn.
The women hope the lawsuits will result in accountability at Tesla’s factories, compensation for the harm they experienced, and an end to the behavior.
