Electric cars are taking over the industry, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been heating up the competition.
The compact SUV is an extension of the Ioniq series which has offered hybrid, fully electric, and plug-in hybrid models, but the
Hyundai
Ioniq 5 was built on an entirely new, exclusive platform.
The Ioniq 5 boasts impressive specs and is reportedly a fun, sporty ride with great battery technology, but did you know there are three different trim levels to choose from?
The three trims, SE, SEL, and Limited, come in a price range from $41,245 to $55,745, and each one has something different to offer. Each trim also has its own set of options to choose between Standard or Long Range and all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive.

2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 cost and specs

There’s only about a $15k difference between the highest and lowest-end model, and the price range puts these EVs under what
Kelley Blue Book
estimates is the average price for a new electric vehicle of $65,000.
The SE Standard Range is $41,245 while the SE Long Range is $42,295. The SEL Long Range runs for $47,745 while the Limited Long Range costs $52,395. For AWD on the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the prices are $48,395 for the SE Long Range AWD, $50,645 for the SEL Long Range AWD, and $55,745 Limited Long Range AWD.
The electric-only powertrain of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is available in multiple configurations to customize just how much range, horsepower, and torque you want.
The standard-range battery paired with the single, rear-mounted electric motor gets 168 horsepower. The standard range battery is also estimated to get 220 miles of range.
In the same configuration, the long-range battery generated 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, which goes from zero to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds. The long-range 77.4 kWh battery pack is rated 256 miles of range in the AWD version and 303 miles with RWD.
The all-wheel-drive configuration generates a powerful 320 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque, nearly halving the zero to 60 mph acceleration time to 4.5 seconds.

The 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels

When it comes to choosing a trim level for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 the main differences among trims are going to be comfort, style, technology, and safety features
The most affordable and basic model, the Ioniq 5 SE Standard Range, still sets a high bar in terms of performance and technology.
The SE interior has a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with navigation, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 19-inch Aero alloy wheels, and heated front seats.
The Long Range SE offers all the same comfort and technology as the Standard Range with an upgrade in performance. The ultra-fast charging system can also recharge the battery to 80% in just 18 minutes.
The SEL trim level has upgraded features including LED headlights, a synthetic leatherette interior, a wireless smartphone charging system, a hands-free smart liftgate, ambient interior lighting, and Highway Driving Assist technology.
The most upscale of the three trim levels is the Limited.
It includes all of the aforementioned features of the SE and SEL trims but gets an upgrade to features like 20-inch alloy wheels, Remote Smart Parking Assist, a Surround View Monitor, Blind-Spot View Monitor, and a “Vision” panoramic sunroof.
It also features a two-way onboard charger that keeps your smart devices and small electronics charged for long trips.
