The new I-PACE has remodeled exterior that gives it sleek, futuristic styling, technological improvements across the board, and a slew of other advanced features.
When it comes to designing an EV, aerodynamics is key as any added friction can impact your driving range. The 2022 Jaguar I-PACE delivers a highly aerodynamic body in the classic, elegant styling that drivers have come to expect from Jaguar.
Looks great, and drives even better
Since the first I-PACE came out in 2019, Jaguar has upheld the high standards set for performance, comfort, luxury, and driveability.
The EPA-rated range of the 2022 Jaguar I-PACE’s 90 kWh battery is 253 miles. The two electric motors produce a combined 394 horsepower and 512 pound-feet of torque.
The only trim available for the 2022 Jaguar I-PACE is the former top-tier HSE, but at $71,050, it’s $11k less than before, making its starting price comparable to the previous base model.
The interior is just as cutting-edge as the exterior, and the easy-to-use touchscreen infotainment system comes standard with a suite of safety features.
Leather upholstery, 16-way power front seats with heating and cooling crushing, a power-operated liftgate, 20-inch wheels, and a premium audio system all come standard.
What’s new with the 2022 Jaguar I-Pace?
The 2022 I-PACE has been much anticipated after Jaguar skipped the 2021 model year, and the slew of improvements doesn’t disappoint. A 4G data plan, 360-degree camera system, and wireless charging all come complimentary with the base model. An optional Bright package adds some extra flair to the outside with chrome trim and Atlas Grey accents.
The new infotainment system is also the most intuitive one yet and includes a feature that shows the nearest charging station, and how long it would take to refill the battery.
The 2022 Jaguar I-PACE also has an upgraded 11.0-kW charger for at-home charging, replacing the previous 7.0-kW charger. That cuts down charging time from 12.6 hours to just 8.6 from empty to a full charge.
Buying a 2022 Jaguar I-PACE
If you’re considering buying a 2022 Jaguar I-PACE you’ll be covered with the basic 5-year/60,000-mile warranty as well as the battery pack’s 8-year/100,000-mile warranty. If the battery falls below 70 percent efficiency in that time frame, Jaguar will replace it for you.
