Fortunately, we now know more about the vehicle, the FF 91, than ever before. A new official EPA range tells us this car might not be as far off as many once thought.
Faraday Future is an exciting electric vehicle startup with big plans. When it first went into business, it originally revealed two different concept electric vehicles at the Consumer Electronics Show, and both looked like they’d be able to rival Tesla in terms of body, speed, power, technology, and more.
Unfortunately, in 2018 the company’s former CEO filed for personal bankruptcy, and Faraday Future appeared to be in financial trouble, too. Under new leadership, the company went public and secured funding, but it took until 2021 to seriously talk about plans for its first vehicle.
What new details do we know about the Faraday Future FF 91?
The latest development on Faraday Future’s FF 91 is the official EPA range of 381 miles.
It’s important to note that this range is for only the FF 91 Futurist, which is the most luxurious and expensive trim of the FF 91. And, the EPA-certified range only applies to vehicles built before January 1, 2024—anything built after will need to be recertified.
