The DeLorean Motor Company
Recently revived and incorporated in Winter 2022 by Stephen Wynne, the DeLorean Motor Company plans on becoming a full-line original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The original company went bankrupt in 1982. Wynne has been operating Classic DeLorean, collecting trademarks and assets, in its honor ever since.
The company currently employs about 50 people, but this number will grow to 400 when the car hits production. This will likely happen in 2024.

But critics can expect the DeLorean to be faster than its predecessor, which was more renowned for its looks than its speed. Range will be more than 300 miles, on par with other cars in this niche segment. Experts suspect this will be a limited-production model.
The price point has yet to be divulged, but officials have hinted it would sit somewhere between a high-end Tesla and the cheapest McLaren. This gives us a ballpark of $150,000 to $200,000.
The battery will be larger than 100 kWh, with a fast-charging rate of around 150 kWh. Battery and motor suppliers remain unknown.
Teaser photos confirm the classic gullwing design is intact, but the stainless steel body of the DMC-12 was ditched due to weight concerns. The two-tone silver and black paint job makes a satisfactory substitution. The DeLorean sports wide rear fenders, an illuminated V emblem on the grille, and a louvered rear roof panel.
