2022 Audi e-tron range

The top range of the 2022 Audi e-tron is 222 miles for the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trim levels. The Sportback models, however, get a slightly lower range of 218 miles.
Both standard and Sportback models are powered by an all-wheel-drive powertrain, generating 355 horsepower. With an impressive 150-kW fast charger, you can charge your e-tron to 80% in around 30 minutes.
Where does that leave the e-tron? Unfortunately, trailing behind the competition. Its 222-mile range falls just behind the Jaguar I-PACE’s 234-mile range, and woefully under the Tesla Model X Long Range’s impressive 371-mile range.
Despite sitting below the competition, the Audi e-tron still has a practical range for most drivers. Given that the average American commute is only 16 miles, the Audi e-tron could still take you through an entire work week without needing to charge.

2022 Audi e-tron charging time and fuel economy

The range is only one important consideration when looking for your next electric vehicle. Charging time can make the difference between an EV that makes your life simpler and one that needs constant attention.
Like any electric car, the Audi e-tron has a variety of charging options. You can charge your e-tron using a regular 120-volt household outlet, but it will take about 80 hours or just over three days to charge fully. A 240-volt charger, on the other hand, can do the trick overnight in about nine hours. You’ll need to install a Level 2 charger in your home for this charge.
Your fastest option is hands down the Audi e-tron’s 150-kW fast charger. This option will charge your e-tron up to 80% in only 30 minutes
What about fuel economy?
The fully electric 2022 Audi e-tron is rated for 78 MPGe combined by the EPA. While it’s low compared to some other EVs, it’s still an improvement from any hybrid or gas-only vehicle.
