What is the cheapest Audi EV?
The 2022 Audi e-tron Premium is the cheapest all-electric option sold brand new by Audi. Keep in mind, however, that the e-tron was launched in 2019, so you may be able to save a bit of money by opting for a used model.
Is an Audi EV worth it?
The 2022 Audi e-tron certainly isn’t cheap—especially if you opt for a top trim level that exceeds $80,000. However, simply considering a vehicle’s sticker price doesn’t exactly tell us if it’s worth it.
As is the case for any vehicle, this Audi’s worth truly depends on whether it suits your specific needs and preferences. If you’re considering the 2022 e-tron, it’s safe to bet you’re looking for a vehicle that has two things: sophisticated luxury and an all-electric powertrain.
Audi truly delivers when it comes to luxury; the e-tron looks classy and refined, and the interior is as plush and cozy as one would expect from the classy German manufacturer. In terms of an EV, however, the vehicle lacks an impressive driving range when compared to rival models.
What is the horsepower of an Audi e-tron?
Two motors work together to provide electronic all-wheel drive making a combined 355 horsepower and 414 pound-feet of torque when in traditional drive mode. That’s enough power to tow up to 4,000 lbs of cargo.
Want to unlock even more power? Switch your Audi to Sport Mode to temporarily unlock 402 ponies and 490 pound-feet of torque.
What is the range of the Audi EV?
Here’s where the Audi EV gets a little disappointing. The regular e-tron has an estimated driving range of 222 miles, while the Sportback version is rated at 218 miles. While these numbers aren’t embarrassing, per se, they are significantly lower than the driving range of Audi’s all-electric competitors.
The e-tron does stand out, however, thanks to its impressively fast charging time. Its 150-kW fast charger allows it to replenish 80 percent of its battery in about 30 minutes!
Is the Audi e-tron reliable?
J.D. Power gave the 2022 Audi e-tron a predicted reliability score of 62/100, which is considered just fair and, frankly, below average.
Fortunately, the e-tron comes with a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and an eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty.

Electric vehicles tend to be more expensive to insure. Luxury vehicles tend to be more expensive to insure. So what happens when you opt for a luxury all-electric vehicle?
