Average retail: $13,050

The Lincoln Continental was first released in 1939 as a vacation vehicle, named for its European-style elements. The Continental was renamed the Lincoln Town Car for its seventh generation, but the Town Car brand was far from new.
The Town Car title first appeared in the Continental line in 1959 as a limousine version of the car, which came in only black with a unique padded vinyl top. It later became a regular trim option.
The Lincoln Continental and the Town Car signified elegance and luxury. Models produced from 1974 to 1979 had a wheelbase of 127 inches, making this generation of the Town Car the longest car Ford Motor Company ever produced.
The 1977 through 1979 Continentals came with a few updates from previous models, including a restyled roof and headlights, an oval opera window, and updated four-wheel disc brakes. The dashboard of the 1979 model was also upgraded with wood trim
The 1977 to 1979 models came in two special editions:
  • The Williamsburg Edition came in two-tone paint colors, a full vinyl roof, power vent windows, lighted vanity mirrors, six-way twin comfort seats, and pinstriping.
  • The Collector's Series added a power moonroof, a 40-channel CB radio, anti-lock brakes, and a velour interior. This series also came in four colors: dark blue, white, medium blue, and light silver.
The 1979 Continental is a luxurious blast from the past. If you’re looking to own one yourself, keep in mind that your options of colors, trims, and features will be limited

This app is great, but the customer service is even better! Not to mention convenient! My husband and I got the lowest rate (much lower than the rates I was finding online through my own searches), quickly, and pretty much all through text message! Thank you so much for a hassle free experience👍
