If you are 16 or older, you do not need to take a driving course. However, if you are enrolled in such a course or have completed a course, bring the documentation to prove it.

There are five types of licenses available in the state of Oklahoma:
Class A (Commercial)—A Class A commercial license allows the holder to operate any combination of vehicles weighing 26,001 pounds or more. The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the towed vehicle should be greater than 10,000 pounds.
Class B (Commercial)—A person with a Class B commercial license can drive any vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more, as long as the GVWR of the vehicle being towed doesn't go over 10,000 pounds.
Class C (Commercial)—A Class C commercial license lets the holder drive any single vehicle that is made to carry 16 or more people or hazardous materials.
Class D (Regular)—A person with a Class D regular license can drive cars, RVs, trucks, fire trucks, and other non-commercial vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or less.
