Nissan Versa SV V6

The Nissan Versa SV understandably does not have a V6 engine. An engine that big would take away from its affordability and efficiency.

The
Nissan Versa SV
is one of the market's most affordable and efficient compact sedans, meaning a V6 engine would be a little overkill—so there isn’t one available.
All Nissa Versas have a 122-hp four-cylinder engine. And while there is no engine upgrade when you jump from the S model to the SV model, you do get an Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) as standard equipment instead of a five-speed manual. As a result, this creates a much more convenient driving experience.
But if you have a thrill-seeking personality, Nissan does offer some other vehicles that are equipped with powerful V6 engines that will satisfy your need for speed. Let’s check them out!

Most Nissans these days lean into the affordable and efficient category and the Nissan Versa SV is no different. Its humble four-cylinder engine provides 36 combined mpg and keeps the MSRP below $20,000, which is all you can really ask from a compact sedan made for everyday use!
If you’re still on the hunt for a Nissan with a V6 engine, you’re in luck. The automaker still has a soft spot for sports cars that tote V6 engines:
  • 2023 Nissan Z ($39,990): 400-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6
  • 2023 Nissan GT-R ($113,540): 565-hp twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6
But V6s aren’t only made for fast rides. Engine performance can also be optimized for power. Here’s what Nissan has to offer in terms of SUVs that leverage their V6 engines to perform heavy-duty tasks:

The Nissan Versa SV does not have a V6 engine—which makes sense. Having that big of an engine would only be a disservice to this compact sedan’s competitive advantages: affordability and efficiency.
