Renew your license online
If the current address on your ID or any personal information is not changing, you are eligible to renew your driver’s license online. If you require a change of address, you must visit a local OMV office to renew.

As of 2016, the state of Louisiana began issuing Real ID-compliant credentials. You must visit an OMV office to obtain a credential with a Real ID indicator. If renewing online, the credential you receive will display "Not for Federal Identification."
