The Infiniti Q50 Hybrid is a luxurious extension of the traditional Infiniti, with more power and better efficiency than any other car in its class.
It was unveiled in 2013 at the Shanghai Auto Show and powered by a 3.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. Unfortunately, the Q50 was discontinued in 2018. The only path to buying an Infiniti hybrid is to buy a used model.

The Infiniti Q50 Series was the only car in the Infiniti lineup that you could buy as a hybrid. Since they no longer make this car brand new, your path to an Infiniti hybrid must travel down the used car route.
The first Infiniti hybrid, the Q50, was unveiled in 2013 and remained on the market for five years before it was discontinued so the company could put all of its efforts into electric vehicles, bypassing hybrids altogether.
But before they made that decision, the Infiniti Q50 was the star of the Infiniti hybrid lineup, with a look and feel all its own that made it stand out among other cars in its class. Sculpted bodywork and comfortable interior made it desirable, while the gas/electric hybrid engine gave the owner up to 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

The Infiniti Direct Response Hybrid system runs on an unconventional combination of a 3.5-liter V6 engine, lithium-ion battery, and electric motor. This combination allows you to go from 0-60 in under five seconds, which makes it one of the quicker used hybrid models. With the combination motors, you can also get 34 miles per gallon on the highway.
The bottom line? If you want a high-performing hybrid that won’t break the bank, the Q50 might be the version for you.
