If you’re looking for a smaller SUV that’s fun to drive, great to look at, and packed with features even in the standard trim, the Hyundai Kona SE is hard to beat. However, its base level 147-hp four-cylinder engine isn’t much to write home about—and while you can boost it up to 195 horsepower, you’re still not going to get the kick that comes with six cylinders.
And unfortunately, no versions of the Kona come with a V6 engine, so if that’s a must-have, you’ll need to look elsewhere. But don’t worry, because Hyundai does offer it in a different SUV.

does have it as an option. The Palisade is an SUV that looks more traditional than the Kona. It does have a much bigger price tag, but offers plenty of space and more luxurious feel, as well as that six cylinder engine.
