This app is great, but the customer service is even better! Not to mention convenient! My husband and I got the lowest rate (much lower than the rates I was finding online through my own searches), quickly, and pretty much all through text message! Thank you so much for a hassle free experience👍

Pontiac Vibe customization options

The 2010 Pontiac Vibe, the last of its line, came in eight colors, ranging from ignition orange to ultra white, and two trims, the basic and the
Vibe GT
. Costing about $9,000 used, the 2010 Pontiac Vibe was a practical yet surprisingly stylish hatchback. It boasted many advanced features, including satellite radio and a telescoping steering wheel.
The Pontiac Vibe’s base trim came standard with a 1.8-liter, 132-horsepower, four-cylinder engine. Its exterior sported power mirrors and 16-inch wheels. The interior included a tilt and telescoping steering column, as well as a robust entertainment system featuring a CD player, satellite radio, and an auxiliary audio jack. If you are buying a 2010 Pontiac Vibe base trim and you live in a warm climate, make sure it has air conditioning, as it was an optional add-on.
The Pontiac Vibe’s base trim offered the option to upgrade to a 2.4-liter engine. With the bigger engine, drivers also had the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive.
The GT trim offered many upgrades not included in the Pontiac Vibe’s base trim. Additional features include an independent rear suspension system, rear spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The GT also sports a 320-watt Monsoon audio sound system, cruise control, keyless entry, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The best Pontiac Vibe mods

Since you can no longer buy a customized Pontiac Vibe right from the factory, you’ll have to get creative when outfitting your used model. Below are some great ways to customize your Pontiac Vibe to meet your needs and match your style:

Paint

Can’t find a used Pontiac Vibe in the color you want? Head down to your local body shop for a  custom paint job that perfectly suits your style. Custom paint jobs range in price from $1,000 up to $4,500, so be sure to obtain quotes from multiple shops before you commit.

Floor mats

Your used Pontiac Vibe might be a bit old, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be messy. Keep your Pontiac Vibe’s interior clean by purchasing a set of laser-cut floor mats. For less than $200, you can buy floor mats specifically cut to fit your Pontiac Vibe, making it easy to keep your interior clean and free of debris and dirt.

Intake and exhaust ports

By enlarging your engine’s intake and exhaust ports, you allow it to draw extra air into and out of its cylinders, mixing it with more fuel, and generating more power. Porting your engine usually costs somewhere between $500 and $1,000.

Seat covers

Keep your seats protected while adding a splash of luxury and style to your interior. A cheap pair of seat covers can cost as little as $25, and materials range from faux fur to sleek leather.

Interior LED lighting

Accent lighting beneath your dashboard and along your footwells offers a dash of color and style that will dazzle your passengers. Cheap LED kits start at just $40. For a little bit extra you can purchase a smartphone-controlled set.
Key Takeaway Though the Pontiac Vibe is no longer being manufactured, you can still customize your ride with at-home modifications.
