The 2022 RX 350 is available in five trim levels: the RX 350, RX 350L
, RX 350 F Sport
, RX 350 Black Line Special Edition, and RX 350L Black Line Special Edition. The MSRP ranges from $45,570 at the lowest end to $58,735 at the high. Moving up through the trim levels unlocks more options and packages, but a nice thing about the RX 350 is that the base level trims are eligible for a generous amount of upgrades, so you won’t necessarily have to move up a trim level just to get the features you want.
The L-level trims offer three rows of seating for seven occupants, while the others have two rows that can accommodate five. Two-zone climate control is standard on the 350, Sport, and Black Line trim, while the longer L trims have standard three-zone climate control.
All trim levels come with a 3.5 liter, V6 engine that delivers 295 horsepower. The transmission is an eight-speed automatic—no manual option is offered. Depending on the kind of terrain you’ll be driving in, you can stick with the standard front-wheel drive or upgrade to all-wheel drive for $1,400 more. Interested in a hybrid option? How to customize your RX 350 to save money
When you’re adding on options and packages at the dealership, it means spending more money—sometimes quite a lot more. For example, selecting both the Luxury Package and the Navigation/Mark Levinson Premium Audio Package for your 350L will increase the sticker price by $9,365, bringing your total from $49,475 to $58,840.
When you are considering customizations for your new Lexus, make sure to be practical and not overload it with too many features that you may not really need. Plus, extra features frequently mean extra cost when it comes to insurance.
On the other hand, some customizations might have the effect of saving you money in the long run. Here are some options to consider that are not only nice to have, but might save you some money on insurance too.
Driver assistance features: Adding on available safety options like a panoramic view monitor, intuitive parking assist with auto braking, and rear cross-traffic braking will make you less likely to be involved in a collision and may reduce your insurance bill.
Mudguards, door edge guards, and body side moldings: Keeping wear and tear to a minimum and protecting your car from road debris and parking lot damage can save you money on costly repairs and help protect your Lexus’ value.
