GMC Envoy V6

Engine: 4.3-liter V6
Horsepower: 190 hp at 4400 rpm
Torque: 250 lb-ft at 2800 rpm
0 to 60: 7.25 seconds
V6 engines were only available for the first generation of GMC Envoys, which were manufactured between 1998 and 2000 to compete with the
Oldsmobile Bravada
. The Envoy was the highest trim version of the
GMC Jimmy
and included some state-of-the-art features (for the time) such as a leather-trim interior, floor-mounted shifter, remote trunk release, heated seats, and a Bose sound system.
Add-on options included a power sunroof, panic alarm, anti-theft system, and power driver and passenger seats.
The GMC Envoy was fitted with a 4.3-liter V6 engine with 190 horsepower. When combined with four-wheel drive, the V6 engine gave the Envoy more power, faster acceleration, and smoother handling than similar vehicles with inline engines.

How’s the fuel economy?

How fast is the GMC Envoy V6?

The GMC Envoy isn’t going to break any speed records, but it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.25 seconds, which is decently impressive for a vehicle that’s more than twenty years old.
