If you’re moving within Oregon
If you’re already an Oregonian, Oregon makes it super easy to update your address. After you move, you have 30 days to update your
vehicle registration
with the Oregon Driver & Motor Vehicle Services in one of three ways:The choice is yours. Whatever you choose, make sure you’re prepared by gathering your:
- Driver’s license number
- New address
- Date of birth

It depends on what you want. In Oregon, you’re not required to get a new license when your address changes. If you’re good with that, then the update is free.
If you do want a new license, you’ll be charged $26.

Out-of-staters have 30 days to complete the registration—and you can do so in one of two ways:
