background
When it comes to epic rides, there’s nothing quite like the Lamborghini—it’s fast, sexy, sleek, and comes in some wild and outrageous colors like Giallo Midas or Le Mans Blue. Producing cars that turn heads is something that’s part of Lamborghini’s DNA.
For most vehicles, you’ll have a standard selection of colors ranging from black and gray to red, blue, and sometimes even green—but not Lamborghini. With over 250 colors to choose from and endless customization, Lamborghinis are flamboyant, loud, and glorious, yet somehow still chic. The list of memorable rare Lamborghini colors is no joke, but the newer models boast just as much distinction.
Whatever Lambo you favor, its epic paint shade is sure to get attention. Read on to learn more about the best Lamborghini colors so you can turn even more heads as you (responsibly) rip down the street.

Giallo Auge

Available on: Aventador SJV, Huracan Spyder, Diablo VT, Urus
Introduced as a special launch color for the Urus model, this bright yellow has become a classic color for Lamborghini—perhaps one of the most well-known in their lineup. Unlike most colors in the Lambo palette, Giallo Auge combines two languages—Italian and Spanish.
Giallo means yellow in Italian and Auge translates to boom in Spanish. So, Giallo Auge is yellow boom. Although not the most popular, it’s definitely the most fitting for one of the biggest supercars of all time. There’s no flying under the radar in a yellow Lambo—when you pull up, everyone notices.

Matte Black

Available on: Custom color order
No list of cool colors would be complete without black—matte black, that is. It’s one of the most classic colors for luxury supercars and the second-most popular color for a Lamborghini. It’s the perfect shade to catch the sharp lines of the Lamborghini and can be highlighted by adding a gorgeous set of contrast rims.
It’s sexy, it’s sleek, and it lends a serious air of mystery if you’re lucky enough to catch it fly by. But if you’re planning to go the matte route, you can expect to add upwards of $14,000 to your bill for a custom color.

Blu Le Mans

Available on: Urus, Centenario, Aventador, Huracan
Although it may not be appealing for any other car, electric blue on a Lamborghini is something else—it’s one of the most sought-after colors in their lineup. That said, Blu Le Mans is just one of the 12 shades of blue Lamborghini offers. Accentuated by the red and black accents on the Lamborghini, this electric blue gives a bold, powerful look to any vehicle.
If you’re looking to spend your paycheck on an incredibly rare limited-edition Lambo, one of the 40 Centenarios produced comes in blue—along with a $2.4 million price tag.

Verde Mantis

Available on: Huracan
You’ll see cars like the
Ford Fiesta
or the
Chevy Camaro
decked out in lime green, but nothing says eye-catching quite like Lamborghini’s Verde Mantis. Most commonly seen on the Lamborghini Huracan, Verde Mantis is a shade of bright green that can probably be seen from a mile away.
And it’s the perfect representation of Lamborghini’s bold and bright ethos. This daring color screams young, fast, and ultra-sporty—there’s no question why the younger crowd gravitates to it.

Grigio Telesto

Available on: Aventador SVJ
You’ll see gray cars all over the roads, but nothing compares to the look of Grigio Telesto on a Lamborghini. First introduced on the limited edition Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster, this 650-horsepower 6.5L V12 monster engine featured a Grigio Telesto exterior, combining gray bodywork with a bright orange Arancio LP 650-4 on the front spoiler and sills. Talk about a drool-worthy combination.
If you aren’t lucky enough to get your hands on one of the 50 Murciélagos ever produced, Grigio Telesto looks pretty wicked on a Urus or Aventador SVJ, too. Although a relatively tame color, Grigio Telesto stands out simply by not trying to stand out. And when you pair it with bronze-finished wheels, how can you go wrong?

Rosso Mars

Available on: Huracan Performante Spyder, Urus, Aventador
Following suit with the classic Ferrari color, Lamborghini's bright red Rosso Mars screams, “Look at me!” And how can you not with a car that gorgeous?
Rosso Mars is listed as metallic, but it’s nothing like most metallic reds. And if you want to make this sexy color pop more, pair it with Giallo or Nero accents to exemplify the true ethos of Lamborghini.
Although many people say red belongs solely to another supercar, we disagree. Red was made for all supercars—especially the Lambo.

Viola Parsifae

Available on: Diablo, Aventador, Huracan
It’s probably tough to envision a purple Lambo (and we’re not talking about the Skrillex x Rick Ross collab). Purple is a pretty rare Lamborghini color nowadays. Some colors look brilliant on certain cars, and Viola Parsifae on the Aventador SVJ is the perfect example of that.
It’s the marriage of an insanely extroverted color with the ultra-aggressive styling of the SVJ. No wonder this beauty turns heads wherever it goes.

Bianco Monocerus

Available on: Urus, Aventador
One of the most basic colors you see on cars of all makes—yet somehow on the Lamborghini it looks different—this shade reminds us that white isn’t just a color. It’s pure luxury
Bianco Monocerus is a pearlescent white that radiates elegance. To spice things up, it’s often paired with bold red accents, but because of its versatility, any accent color would look good. Plus, white never goes out of style.

Arancio Borealis

Available on: Gallardo Bicolore or Balboni edition, Huracan, Murcielago LP640
Orange isn’t one of Lamborghini’s more popular colors, but a Huracan painted with Arancio Borealis is going to command attention. There are 12 different shades of orange offered by Lamborghini, each looking phenomenal as the sun glistens off the sleek exterior.

FAQs

Yes. If you’re getting anything besides a base color—which for most Lamborghinis is black or yellow—you can expect to pay extra. For example, solid colors start at an extra $1,650; metallic colors will run you upwards of $2,200, and a pearl finish costs about $4,100.
