2023 Jeep Cherokee bolt pattern

So, what is a bolt pattern anyway? Put simply, it’s a way of describing the size and layout of the bolts on your Cherokee. Any wheel you buy needs to line up with these bolts—otherwise, they won’t fit on, which is kind of important.

A bolt pattern—also known as a lug pattern—is how the bolts on your vehicle line up and how many bolts there are.

The bolt pattern for a 2023 Jeep Cherokee is 5x5, sometimes written as 5 on 5. This means your car’s wheels have five bolts each and they’re in a circle with a 5-inch diameter. This is for the 2023 Cherokee of course—if you have a model from a different year, you’ll need to check that one specifically, as the bolt pattern can vary.

How to measure your Jeep Cherokee’s bolt pattern

If you drive a Jeep, chances are you’re the kind of person who likes to do things for themselves. Luckily, if you want to check the bolt pattern yourself, it’s nice and easy.

Use a tape measure or ruler to measure from the outer edge of the lug hole of any bolt to the center of one of the bolts on the other side. Because there are an odd number of bolts, there won’t be a bolt directly across from your starting point—pick either of the two opposite bolts. This gets you the diameter measurement, which should be 5 inches. Then, you just need to count the number of lugs and put it together to get your bolt pattern of 5x5.
