The best windshield wipers for an Infiniti G35

On average, Infiniti wiper blades can do their job for 6-12 months before they start to deteriorate. However, if you recognize any signs of cracking, splitting, or general wear and tear on your blades before the 6-month mark, you may need to replace them sooner.
With so many wiper options on the market, the hardest part of replacing your blades can be finding the right fit for your car. Is there a more durable option out there, or are all wiper blades the same?
For a simple, reliable replacement, you can opt for the
original Infiniti wiper blades
. However, if you’d prefer to take the aftermarket route, we recommend the following three brands as the best picks for your Infiniti:
Now that you have some blades in mind, you’re ready to get shopping. Before you head to the store, though, you’ll need to figure out what size of wiper blades you’re shopping for. How to replace Infiniti G35 windshield wipers

While wiper blades generally last 6-12 months before they need to be replaced, the exact lifetime of your blades will depend on your care habits, the blade material, and precipitation levels where you live. Common signs that you need a replacement include streaking, chattering, squeaking, and smearing
If you're not sure whether it's time to switch them out yet, you could always seek out a windshield wiper/washer system inspection from an auto shop.
Luckily, you don’t need to be a maintenance expert to replace your wipers when it's time, and the task can be completed from home in minutes! Follow the directions below for optimum visibility on the road.

How to put Infiniti G35 windshield wipers in service position

Before you can replace your blades, you’ll need to put them in a position where you can easily access them, otherwise known as the service position. To do so, put your Infiniti in P (Park) and turn your ignition OFF. Push your wiper switch to the MIST position twice and your wiper arm will stop mid-operation. From there, the arm can be pulled up for easy access.

Now that your wipers are in position, let’s get to the steps for replacement.
  • Preparation. Find the tiny clip that holds your wipers in place and push it up towards the arm. Then, push the blade backward to free the blade from the hook.
  • Remove old wiper blades. Push the blade down the arm to disconnect it. When the hook is fully visible, the blade is free to be removed.
  • Position the new blade so the hook is pointing towards the wiper attachment.
  • Connect new wiper blades by pulling the blade towards the end of the arm.
  • Listen for a “click” when it's locked in position.
  • Lower wipers into functional positions.
And just like that, you’re ready to hit the road with a clear windshield! If you discover a problem with the wiper arm itself, you can take your Infiniti to a mechanic for a fix, but for a simple replacement, you can save repair costs and hone your DIY skills.
