Audi Roadside Assistance is a free 24-hour service program provided to all new Audi passenger vehicles sold in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
The program expires four years from the delivery date or your New Vehicle Limited Warranty start date(whichever occurs first) and applies to a select number of models.
If you drive one of these core models, the next time you’re stranded on the side of the road, a certified Audi technician is just a phone call away.

How does Audi Roadside Assistance work?

When you purchase a new Audi, you qualify for Audi’s Roadside Assistance program. The program offers emergency help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Most models are eligible for the program, though some exclusions may apply. We suggest speaking with an Audi dealer to see if your vehicle will be covered, but here's a list of a few models that are included:
Your coverage expires after four years from the delivery date of your vehicle or the Audi New Vehicle Limited Warranty start date (whichever occurs first).
While the program won’t cover the costs of parts, labor, supplies, or materials (should any be needed), Audi does offer a list of comprehensive services, which include:
  • Battery jump-starts
  • Emergency extrication services
  • Emergency towing
  • Flat tire services
  • Fuel delivery services
  • Lock-out services
  • Trip interruption coverage
If your vehicle is disabled due to a mechanical breakdown and you are over 100 miles from your home, Audi may reimburse you for trip interruption expenses. Find out your specific model’s reimbursement cap amount

How to use Audi roadside assistance

Audi Roadside Assistance can be contacted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling one of the numbers provided below (see the number that corresponds to your model):
  • Core Audi models: 1-800-411-9988
  • Audi A8 & R8: 1-866-478-3456
  • Electric vehicles: 1-800-411-998
If you find yourself in an accident or collision, Audi Roadside Assistance offers to tow you to the nearest Audi Authorized Collision Repair Facility or Audi Space Frame Repair Facility. But it’s important to call 911 first
While you wait for the police and roadside assistance to arrive, it’s best to document any damage caused by the accident—doing so will help your insurance company better evaluate your claim.

What if my Audi warranty expired?

If your Audi Roadside Assistance expires, you can see if one of
Audi’s Protection Plans
will address any needs or concerns you have when hitting the road.
Most additional protection plans don’t include roadside assistance, are geared toward more specific issues like tire and wheel protection, and come at an extra cost. Below we list what Protection Plans Audi offers:
  • Vehicle Service Protection
  • Term Protection
  • Certified Pre-Owned Service Protection
  • Lease-End Protection
  • Multi-Cover Protection
  • Tire & Wheel Protection
  • Guaranteed Asset Protection
  • Theft Protection
  • Key Protection

Is Audi Roadside Assistance worth it?

Audi Roadside Assistance is a free four-year program designed to give you peace of mind on the road. However, if your warranty expires, your best option may be to search for roadside assistance outside of Audi’s program.
Stand-alone roadside assistance from Audi tends to be costly

Alternatives to Audi Roadside Assistance

Wondering what to do once your Audi Roadside Assistance expires? Below are a few options to consider, should you opt out of one of Audi’s other Pure Protection plans:
  • Cell phone companies (about $5 a month): Some cell phone companies provide limited roadside assistance for a low fee—charges are included on your monthly phone bill
  • Towing and labor coverage
from insurance (under $20 a year): Most insurance companies offer towing and labor coverage to their drivers, but they may require you to carry
    collision
    and
    comprehensive
    coverage with them as well
If you already have
full-coverage insurance
, buying roadside assistance through your insurance company could save you money. Ask your insurer for more details.
