To enable Apple CarPlay in your Volvo XC60, you need to have an iPhone 5 or newer with at least iOS 7.1 installed.
First, you need to make sure your Bluetooth is turned off—you cannot use Apple CarPlay in your Volvo XC60 if Bluetooth is enabled. Then, connect your iPhone to your Volvo with a USB cord. If there are two USB connections available, use the one with a white border.
