The 2018 Toyota Corolla does not offer Apple CarPlay on any trim configuration, and you won’t be able to add this functionality after the fact at a Toyota dealership. Every 2018 Corolla is, however, fitted with standard Siri Eyes Free to aid in hands-free device usage.
Toyota began heavily introducing Apple CarPlay as a standard feature on certain models in 2019—the Toyota Corolla received this standard feature in 2020. Owners of 2018 Camrys and Siennas were able to get Apple CarPlay added retroactively, but this option wasn’t offered to owners of 2018 Toyota Corollas.

Does the 2018 Toyota Corolla have Apple CarPlay?
The 2018 Toyota Corolla does not have Apple CarPlay on any trim configuration. Apple CarPlay was standardized on the Toyota Corolla in 2020, and Toyota did not offer any ways to retroactively add Apple CarPlay to older Corolla models. The 2018 Toyota Corolla does, however, come with Siri Eyes Free standard on all trim levels.
Siri Eyes Free comes as part of the 2018 Corolla’s standard infotainment software—Toyota’s Entune multimedia suite—along with Bluetooth connectivity for audio playback. Siri Eyes Free allows you to send texts from your iPhone, make calls, control music, and more with integrated voice commands. Toyota navigation and Sirius XM are also included in XLE and XSE trim configurations.
How to add Apple CarPlay to a 2018 Toyota Corolla
While you won’t be able to get Apple CarPlay added to your 2018 Toyota Corolla by the manufacturer, you can install an aftermarket radio replacement on your own. Aftermarket Apple CarPlay software tends to cost anywhere from $400 to $1,500 and is a (relatively) easy DIY way to add this useful device integration to your 2018 Toyota Corolla.
Head to your local tech store to talk with a knowledgeable sales assistant who can lead you toward a compatible option. In some cases, you may need to install a Double Din harness, like
