2015 Ford Mustang bolt pattern

Ford lug patterns
vary widely by vehicle, but the 2015 Mustang employs one of their most common layouts—5 x 4.5 inches. For reference, here is the formula that bolt/lug patterns follow:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
The 5 x 4.5-inch lug pattern indicates that the wheels on your Mustang have five bolts each, arranged in a circle that is 4.5 inches in diameter.
This might be the primary measurement you need to know to perform a tire change, but it’s not the only one. It’s also prudent to know your Mustang’s stud size, wheel offset, center bore measurement, and torque specifications:
  • Factory wheel size: 19”
  • Stud size: M14 x 1.5
  • Offset: 19 mm to 39 mm
  • Center bore: 70.5 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 180–220 Nm

How to measure your Ford Mustang’s bolt pattern

Using the information above, you should be able to correctly change your 2015 Mustang tires. However, if you’re more of a hands-on type and you want to check the measurements yourself, we’ll tell you how.
First, you’ll need to find either a measuring tape or a ruler. Next, choose a bolt and measure from the outer edge of the lug hole to the middle of the opposite bolt. Given that the 2015 Mustang has five bolts, you won’t be able to connect them if you measure straight across, so choose one of the nearest bolts and measure to the center.
The measurement that you end up with is your diameter. Once you combine it with the number of bolts on any given wheel, you’ll have your lug pattern!
