The 2015 Chevy Impala uses a 5x4.75 bolt pattern, which indicates that each wheel has five bolts forming a circle that is four and three-quarter inches in diameter.
There’s a lot to like about the 2015 Chevrolet Impala. With a quiet ride, forward-thinking cabin, spacious backseat, and fantastic crash test scores, it’s easy to see why the Impala has become such a classic.
Like every other car, though, it’s prone to one of the most common highway hazards out there: a flat tire. To be better prepared for this eventuality, you should learn about your Impala’s bolt pattern.

2015 Chevy Impala bolt pattern

A 2015 Chevy Impala uses a 5x4.75
lug pattern
, which is different from the pattern found on older Impala models. If you’re not sure what that means, it can be boiled down to a very simple blueprint. All bolt patterns can be expressed with this simple formula:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
What that means is that each of your Impala’s wheels has five bolts that form a four-and-three-quarter inch diameter circle.
That’s important to know, but it’s not the only measurement you’ll need to be aware of when swapping out your Impala’s wheels:
  • Factory wheel size: 18” to 20”
  • Stud size: M14x1.5
  • Offset: 29 to 52mm
  • Center bore: 66.9 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 150 Nm

How to measure your Chevy Impala’s bolt pattern

If you keep these measurements in mind, changing your Impala’s wheels out should be a breeze. If you’re more of a “hands-on” type, though, you might want to figure out those measurements for yourself. Luckily, we can show you how.
First, you’ll need to find some measuring tape, but a humble ruler should suffice if your measuring tape is MIA. Choose a bolt and then measure from the outside edge of the lug hole to the center of the opposite bolt. Remember that the Impala has a total of five bolts, so you won’t be able to measure directly across and get a straight line. Instead, choose either of the nearest bolts and measure to the center.
Once you’ve got the distance properly measured, the number you get is your diameter. Pair that with the number of bolts and you’ve got your bolt pattern!
