How to measure your Ford Mustang’s bolt pattern

All of the measurements listed above should provide the information you need to switch out your Mustang’s wheels—but if you don’t want to take our word for it, you can easily measure your 2000 Ford Mustang’s lug pattern yourself.

Simply grab a measuring tape (or even a ruler, if it’s all you have) and head out to your vehicle. Pick a wheel, a bolt—any of them will do—and measure from the outer edge of the lug hole to the center of the bolt on the opposite side. Seeing as the Mustang only has five bolts, you’ll end up between lugs if you measure straight across, so you’ll need to measure to the center of either of the nearest bolts.
