How to measure your Ford F-150’s bolt pattern

Now that you know your bolt pattern, you should be able to swap out your F-150 tires, no problem. But if you skipped that part and want to know if you can measure your own bolt pattern, we’ll show you how.

All you need is a measuring tape or even a humble ruler. Pick a bolt and measure from the outer edge of the lug hole to the middle of the opposite bolt. Since the 2000 F-150 has five bolts, you’ll end up between bolts if you measure straight across, so choose the nearest bolt and measure to the center.

Take a good look at the measurement you get, because once you combine it with the number of bolts on a wheel, you’ve got your lug pattern!
