2005 Dodge Magnum bolt pattern

A 2005
Dodge Magnum has a bolt pattern, or lug pattern
, of 5x4.52. If you’re brand new to wheel specifics, lug patterns are generally expressed in the following way:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
So your Magnum has 5 bolts set in a 4.52 diameter circle.
But if you’re looking for a new set of rims or trying to upgrade your tires, you’ll need to know more than your lug pattern. To make any changes to your wheels, you need your wheel size, stud size, offset, center bore measurements, and torque. Here are the specifications for a 2005 Dodge Magnum.
  • Factory wheel size: 17” to 18”
  • Stud size: M14 x 1.5 (9/16 inch stud with 18 threads per inch)
  • Offset: 20 to 35 mm
  • Center bore: 71.6 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 115-130 Nm

How to measure your Dodge Magnum’s bolt pattern

The specifics above should be enough to swap out your wheels. But if you’d like to measure your lug pattern yourself, you can do so easily using a tape measure. A regular ruler works too!
Place your measuring tool at the edge of the lug hole on any of the bolts, then measure to the center of the bolt across the circle from it. Since the ‘05 Dodge Magnum has an odd number of bolts, you’ll end up in between two of them when you measure straight across. Instead, measure from the nearest bolt to the center of the circle.
Whatever measurement you get is your diameter. Add that to the number of bolts and you have your lug pattern!
