No LE trim model

Again, the biggest change for 2022 is the elimination of the LE base model. The new entry-level model is the XLE, followed by the Nightshade model, then the Limited. Compare this to 2021, when only the LE, XLE, and Limited models were offered.

The 2022 XLE comes in at a starting price of $25,615. The Nightshade model (which adds black trim features and wheels) costs $25,860. The Limited model starts at $28,635.

The only styling changes made to the 2022 Toyota C-HR are on the outside—mainly the new Nightshade trim model. The Nightshade model offers black accents, including:

The paint color “Blizzard Pearl” was also removed and replaced with “Wind Chill Pearl” for all 2022 models.
