background
In case you were wondering, the answer is yes—Lamborghini is definitely considered a luxury vehicle. The brand’s otherworldly power and performance, not to mention its stylish interiors and ludicrously high price points, solidify its place among the best of the best.
Since its founding in 1963, Lamborghini has battled fellow Italian carmaker Ferrari in setting the standard for luxury supercars. You’ll find most of the usual luxury accouterments in a Lamborghini, but make no mistake—these exotic cars are built for driving, not fiddling around on a touchscreen in search of a commute-worthy podcast.
So, whether you’re searching for a supremely quick Huracán, an asphalt-scorching Aventador, an iconic and speed limit-destroying Countach, or a ferociously fast Urus SUV for your family of princes and princesses, you’ll want to protect your sound barrier-defying ride with a robust

Is Lamborghini a luxury car?

You’re making us answer this question again? So be it—yes, the Lamborghini is most definitely a luxury car. If you know of an exotic, whiplash-inducing, and iconic hypercar that is nota luxury vehicle, please let us know.
After all, cars offering unparalleled performance, rigorous design and engineering, iconic styling, and sublime interiors don’t grow on trees. The Lamborghini is a truly unique, expensive, and luxurious car.

What makes a luxury car?

Ultimately, what makes a luxury car is subjective. But there shouldn’t be any debate about whether a Lamborghini is a luxury vehicle or not.
That being said, the following criteria are usually used to determine whether a vehicle is part of the luxury category:
  • Performance features: A robust engine and sport-tuned suspension that easily swallows bumps
  • Comfort features: Power-adjustable everything—seats, steering wheel, mirrors; leather upholstery and award-worthy cabin design; and a quiet interior
  • Technology features: Top-of-the-line safety features, premier audio system, and WiFi hotspot
  • Style features: Top-notch styling, ambient lighting, wood, carbon fiber, metal trims, etc.
Many regular vehicles have some of these offerings, but true luxury vehicles tend to offer most, if not all of them. Some luxury vehicles have fewer features, though, because they are focused on something else—like a one-of-a-kind driving experience. (We’re looking at you, Lamborghini.)

Is Lamborghini a good luxury brand?

We’ll go out on a limb here and say yes, Lamborghini is a good luxury brand. Don’t get us wrong, it's an expensiveone, too. But it shouldn’t be surprising that you have to pony up to get your hands on some of the most impressive examples of automotive engineering in the world.
If that’s not luxurious, then what is?

Huracán

Ah, yes. The Huracán, also known as the budget Lamborghini, starts at a “totally affordable” $206,295. A Lamborghini for the “common” person, it boasts superb acceleration, a surprisingly pleasant ride quality, effervescent quickness and agility, and enormously enjoyable supercar sounds.
Better load up on the Botox because the Huracán goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a face-stretching 2.5 seconds.
Standard features include:

Countach

Perhaps you’ve heard of the Lamborghini Countach? It’s only the Vito Corleone of supercars, with its retro looks and its ability to turn hardened car gurus into slack-jawed gawkers willing to accept every offer one can’t refuse.
The 2022 Countach is a special edition commemorating earlier versions of this iconic Lamborghini. It features classic scissor doors, hexagonal wheel covers, and breathtaking performance. Sadly, there are nopop-up headlights.
A very limited number of 2022 Countachs were made. Along with its muscular V12 engine, the 2022 Countach is equipped with a lithium-ion supercapacitor, which adds an extra 34 horsepower to its performance. Getting your hands on one of these track animals costs $2,640,000.
Standard features include:
  • Full digital cluster gauge
  • A sleek, button-free steering wheel
  • 8-inch touchscreen

The 2023 Urus boasts redesigned front and rear ends, a new spoiler, fresh seats, and a new interior trim. It also features interior controls that look like they’ve been lifted straight out of a fighter jet.
