How much does Toyota Corolla LE car insurance cost?

Before you drive away with a brand-new Toyota Corolla LE, set aside about $106 monthly for minimum coverage car insurance. If you opt for a full coverage car insurance policy, increase your budget to $209 per month. The LE trim is 16% more expensive compared to other Corolla models.
It's important to note that averages only provide a general overview. Several factors, including your age, location, credit score, and driving history, influence the premiums you'll pay. The type of car you drive is just the tip of the insurance iceberg.

Keep in mind that the cost of car insurance can differ significantly among drivers depending on the state of their driving record or their age. For instance, a newly licensed 18-year-old will face much higher insurance premiums compared to a seasoned 30-year-old, even if they both happen to own a Corolla LE.

The best car insurance companies for Toyota Corolla LE owners

If you're on the hunt for
the best auto insurance company
for every Toyota Corolla LE owner, you might be disappointed. A one-size-fits-all option doesn't exist—not all car insurance providers excel in customer service or claims handling, so it's crucial to consider your priorities.
Moreover, there’s no single cheapest car insurance provider for every Corolla driver. What matters to your insurance premiums is your individual driver profile—which encompasses your age, address, driving history, deductibles, and other data—not your car.
Jerry conducted one of the largest car insurance shopping surveys in history to see what drivers thought of leading providers across the country. Policyholders evaluated companies on a five-point scale, covering categories such as price, customer service, claims handling, and overall experience.

How'd we get these scores?

Jerry's experts conducted one of the largest car insurance surveys in the United States. We surveyed 15,000 policyholders, in all 50 states, over the span of 18 months. These policyholders hold insurance policies with 87 different insurance companies. We surveyed policyholders to gauge their satisfaction with their insurance carriers in: policy cost, customer service, buying and renewal experience, as well as claim experience. These scores were all reported by real customers of the insurance companies.

How much car insurance do you need for a Toyota Corolla LE?

Minimum coverage insurance
is generally made up of liability insurance alone and fulfills only the basic legal requirements for car insurance in your state.
A
full coverage policy
is optional and more expensive, but it provides valuable peace of mind. The included comprehensive and collision coverage can help repair or replace your vehicle after an at-fault car accident or flash flood.

How do Toyota Corolla LE insurance quotes compare to other Toyota Corolla car insurance rates?

The LE is the second-cheapest trim for most Toyota models, so it’s also generally the second-cheapest to insure. You’ll pay less in premiums if you own an LE versus an XLE or XLE—but you probably can’t beat the price of the base LE sedan.

When determining insurance premiums, insurance providers take many factors into consideration. MSRP, trim level, model year, theft rates, and the cost of repairs are some of the many factors that can influence how much your insurance costs.
Insurance companies also look at your car’s safety. Below are safety ratings of Toyota Corolla LE from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Methodology

The Insurance Research Team analyzes insurance products and services to drive insights and help consumers make informed purchase decisions.
Insurance research: We analyzed over 25 million car insurance quotes; conducted the largest insurance shopping survey (over 15,000 customers surveyed and 85 carriers reviewed in the past 18 months).
We surveyed insurance policyholders for their experience with their insurers in the following areas: (1) insurance cost (2) customer service (3) insurance buying experience (4) insurance renewal experience (5) claim experience. In addition, we asked people what they like about their insurers and what areas in which their insurers could improve. The driver characteristics used in calculating average rates for auto insurance include: single driver, single car, currently insured, clean driving record.
