Remember, the national
average cost of car insurance
doesn’t necessarily tell you what your premiums will be—you need a
personalized car insurance quote
for that.
Imagine an 18-year-old and 40-year-old driver who both own a Subaru BRZ Premium. Even if they both have a clean driving record and good credit, the 40-year-old will still pay lower rates than their younger counterpart. Driver age is just one of many rating factors that affect your insurance premiums.

The best car insurance companies for Subaru BRZ Premium owners

The
best auto insurance company
for any vehicle owner is subjective. Consensus is split on whether it means having the most affordable auto insurance rates, friendly insurance agents, or a smooth claims experience.
But that doesn’t mean we don’t have any recommendations; Jerry conducted a nationwide survey and asked thousands of verified policyholders to rate well-known providers like GEICO, USAA, State Farm, and more. The scores were divided into the categories of policy costs, customer service, claims handling, and overall experience.
A quick reminder: auto insurance quotes are highly individual, so even if your friend also owns a BRZ Premium, you might not get the same rate from the same company. It all hinges on factors like your age, driving history, and more.
Without further delay, here are some of the top-performing auto insurance providers in Jerry's survey:

How'd we get these scores?

Jerry's experts conducted one of the largest car insurance surveys in the United States. We surveyed 15,000 policyholders, in all 50 states, over the span of 18 months. These policyholders hold insurance policies with 87 different insurance companies. We surveyed policyholders to gauge their satisfaction with their insurance carriers in: policy cost, customer service, buying and renewal experience, as well as claim experience. These scores were all reported by real customers of the insurance companies.

How much car insurance do you need for a Subaru BRZ Premium?

If you go for
minimum coverage insurance
, you're only getting what's legally required. Usually, it's limited to liability insurance, which covers your driving mishaps, be it bodily injuries or property damages.
If you opt for
full coverage car insurance
, you get the minimum liability plus collision coverage and comprehensive coverage. This package deal covers most repairs and replacements to your vehicle, whether they stem from collisions, potholes, or giant hailstones.

How do Subaru BRZ Premium insurance quotes compare to other Subaru BRZ car insurance rates?

Despite the name, BRZ Premium isn’t the top-of-the-line trim for the BRZ. It falls below the Limited and tS (at least for the latest model year). You can compare the auto insurance costs for other Subaru BRZ models for yourself using the table below:

The model year of your Subaru BRZ Premium plays a crucial role in determining your auto insurance premiums. Newer cars have higher cash values and more expensive technology, which drive up insurance prices. Older models generally get the cheapest car insurance rates.
