How much does Mazda 3 Premium car insurance cost?

On average, the minimum Mazda 3 insurance sets motorists back by around $85 per month, while opting for a full coverage policy comes to $188 per month. In comparison to other Mazda 3 models, insuring the 3 Premium can be 14% less expensive.
However, the national average rates don't tell the whole story when it comes to auto insurance. Various factors—such as your age, address, credit score, and driving history—play a significant role in determining your insurance premiums. Your Mazda 3 Premium is just one piece of the puzzle.

The
average cost of car insurance
can help you spot price trends, but it’s more important to focus on
personalized car insurance quotes
. It's the most accurate way to gauge how much you need to budget.
Consider this: two drivers each own a Mazda 3 Premium, one a 40-year-old and the 18. They both have a clean driving record. Despite their similarities, the elder driver will pay considerably less for coverage than the younger, all because of their driver age.

The best car insurance companies for Mazda 3 Premium owners

If you consider
the best car insurance company
to be the cheapest car insurance company, prepare to be disappointed: there’s no single insurer with the cheapest rates for every driver. Jerry’s nationwide insurance shopping showed that finding the best rates depends on finding the provider that fits your unique driver profile.
Depending on your age, address, driving record, deductibles, and more, you could get significantly different quotes from two companies. Be prepared to compare a lot of quotes to find the lowest rates for your Mazda model.
As for other criteria—like policy costs, customer service, claims handling, and overall quality—Jerry’s got you covered. Our survey asked thousands of American policyholders to rate the biggest names in car insurance, including GEICO, State Farm, USAA, and Allstate.

How'd we get these scores?

Jerry's experts conducted one of the largest car insurance surveys in the United States. We surveyed 15,000 policyholders, in all 50 states, over the span of 18 months. These policyholders hold insurance policies with 87 different insurance companies. We surveyed policyholders to gauge their satisfaction with their insurance carriers in: policy cost, customer service, buying and renewal experience, as well as claim experience. These scores were all reported by real customers of the insurance companies.

Just as car insurance providers incorporate various driver-related factors into their calculations, they also consider several vehicle-related factors. Your vehicle's MSRP, trim level, model year, theft rates, and repair costs are among the deciding factors for your insurance rates.
Insurers pay particularly close attention to a vehicle's safety ratings and crash test ratings. From airbags to lane departure warnings, here are some of the top safety features of the Mazda 3 Premium according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS):

Methodology

The Insurance Research Team analyzes insurance products and services to drive insights and help consumers make informed purchase decisions.
Insurance research: We analyzed over 25 million car insurance quotes; conducted the largest insurance shopping survey (over 15,000 customers surveyed and 85 carriers reviewed in the past 18 months).
We surveyed insurance policyholders for their experience with their insurers in the following areas: (1) insurance cost (2) customer service (3) insurance buying experience (4) insurance renewal experience (5) claim experience. In addition, we asked people what they like about their insurers and what areas in which their insurers could improve. The driver characteristics used in calculating average rates for auto insurance include: single driver, single car, currently insured, clean driving record.
For the quotes and sold policies included in this article, please note that personal information has been hidden. Not all customers find savings.
