WHY YOU CAN TRUST JERRY

Infiniti drivers spend an average of $2,124 per year on car insurance. However, each insurance provider calculates rates differently—so your exact monthly cost will depend on a variety of factors like your age, driving record, location, and the make and model year of Infiniti you drive.
Car insurance is never a one size fits all kind of deal. You and your next-door neighbor can purchase the same Infiniti model with identical year numbers, but one of you could end up paying a whole lot more than the other in insurance costs. With variations like these, finding cheap car insurance that doesn’t skimp out on coverage can feel like finding a needle in a haystack—how the heck are you supposed to do it?
Not on your own, that’s how! Jerry is a licensed insurance broker and the first ever super app for car owners on a mission to find you a great policy at an even greater price. We’ll walk you through the ins and outs of Infiniti car insurance by giving you an overview of how rates are calculated and sharing our insider tips on scoring the best deal.

How much does Infiniti car insurance cost?

The average annual cost to insure an Infiniti vehicle is $2,124 per year. Your exact insurance premium depends on multiple factors like your Infiniti model, driving history, location, and more.
Broadly speaking, Infiniti insurance is slightly pricier than your average car. That’s largely because Infiniti is considered a luxury division of Japanese automaker Nissan—and added luxury comes at an added price. To many insurance providers, “luxury” is code for “more expensive repairs,” which they calculate into the cost of insuring your car.
Here’s how Infiniti insurance stacks up against other makes.
Sure, it may cost a little more to insure your Infiniti than it would to insure another kind of car, but don’t let that discourage you from trying to save some money on your premium. In our experience, there’s no better way to avoid overspending on insurance than by comparing quotes from different insurance providers. And Jerry can compare them for you in as little as 45 seconds. Instead of hunting for hours and hours online and calling around for what feels like ages, the Jerry app can pull quotes from across 55 premium providers that are tailor-made for your vehicle and coverage needs.

How much insurance do you need for an Infiniti?

At the absolute least, you should meet your state’s minimum required car insurance. Although the exact requirements vary from state to state, most often, this includes liability coverage (both bodily injury liability and property damage liability). All this means is that if you’re at fault in an accident, you won’t have to shoulder the cost of other drivers’ injuries and damage-related expenses out of pocket.
In addition to liability coverage, some states also require you to purchase the following coverages:
Technically speaking, you can just drive with the bare legal minimum—but that may not include all the coverage you need. If you drive an old beat-up Q45 or inherited an I30 from your grandmother, you’ll probably get along just fine with the legal minimum. But, if you’ve just shelled out a lot of money for a shiny new QX50, you may want to consider adding collision and comprehensive coverage to get what’s called “full-coverage” insurance.
Collision and comprehensive coverage help protect your Infiniti from a range of unpredictable disasters like vandalism, theft, severe weather, and a whole host of other threats. While many insurance agents suggest these coverages as add-ons, if you’ve financed your Infiniti, having a full coverage insurance policy may actually be one of your lender’s requirements. Your lender may also require gap insurance, which covers the difference between your car’s current value and the amount remaining on your loan.
Curious about how these different coverage levels affect your wallet? The table below lays out the average full coverage versus minimum Infiniti insurance costs.

How much does Infiniti Q50 insurance cost?

Although it’s for some top-notch safety ratings, they don’t do much to lower the cost of insuring it. The Luxe trim is the cheapest to insure, while the Red Sport 400 takes the crown for most expensive.
