Hatchback

The base trim starts with a 2.0-liter engine that produces 158 horsepower and comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Sport Touring trim also gives you the option of a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT. However, if fuel efficiency is important for you, the hatchback has a slightly lower rating than the sedan.

Sedan
The sedan Civic is essentially the same car as the hatchback, but with a lower MSRP and less cargo space. Unfortunately, the sedan Civic is no longer offered with a manual transmission option so it may not be the best choice if that’s what you are looking for. On the plus side, the sedan Civic has a better fuel economy rating compared to its hatchback counterpart.
Again, the length of the sedan is the same across all trim options, albeit longer than the hatch:
