  • Vehicle identification number (VIN)
    : This unique 17-digit code is printed on your
    vehicle registration
    , insurance card, a windshield sticker in the lower corner on the driver’s side, and any Honda financial service statements.
  • Radio serial number (2002 and newer models): Press and hold down radio preset buttons one and six simultaneously while turning your key to the accessory position without turning the engine on. A 10-digit serial number should appear on the display. 
  • Radio serial number (2001 and older models): The radio serial number is physically printed on the body of your radio unit, meaning you’ll have to remove it from your dashboard to access the serial number.
